E-Commerce is a great way to make money online by selling physical products through an online store.
Is My Ecom Club a good place to learn how to succeed in E-commerce, or are they just trying to scam you out of your money?
There appears to be plenty of misinformation out there about them, so let’s clear some of that up in this review.
Let’s dive in and find out!

What Is My Ecom Club?
My Ecom Club claims to be an internet based education company that will teach you the ins and outs of creating and running a successful E-commerce business.
It claims that they will walk you through the entire process including choosing a niche market, creating the websites, and other technical aspects.
Apparently they even provide Done-for-you options to assist you with the process and make it easier.
Let’s dive deeper and see what it’s all about.
E-Commerce & Drop-shipping
For those of you who don’t know, E-commerce is essentially the process of selling physical products over the internet through the use of a store.
Selling items on eBay, Amazon, Etsy or even your own online store is all considered to be a part of E-commerce.
My Ecom Club seems to focus on creating your own drop-shipping store, so that’s what I’m going to focus on in this review.
Drop-shipping is basically the process of selling physical products online without actually having to store, package and ship them yourself.
There are companies out there that will do all of that stuff for you. You can list your products on your website, and when someone purchases them, the other company will package and ship them out!
In my opinion drop-shipping is a great way to make money online, and can be very profitable if done right.
In the beginning of my online career I actually started making plans to start my own online drop-shipping business.
However in the process of doing research for it, I came across a method of making money online that proved to be much easier, cheaper and had a higher likelihood of success.
At the end of the day drop-shipping is a great way of making money online, however I would recommend learning more about affiliate marketing before pulling the trigger on an online store.
Don’t Be Mislead About Ecom Club
I recently wrote a review about a program called Free Biz Account, which basically lied, and mislead people into joining Ecom Club.
This isn’t something that can be blamed on Ecom Club themselves, however it’s important that you know that there may be a lot of misleading information about them.
Free Biz Account made ridiculous claims about you being able to make thousands of dollars a day within your first week.
They also used fake testimonials, and various other shady tactics and lies to get people to sign up.
If you came across Ecom Club from one of those shady websites, just know that it’s not going to be like they claim.
They appear to have good training that might be able to help you make money online, but you shouldn’t be expecting to succeed quickly or without doing much work.
If you want to succeed in running your own online store, you’re going to have to put in plenty of time and effort.
What Members Are Saying
While doing research for this review I came across their Facebook page and took sometime to read through what many of them were saying.
As of the time of this review they have 100+ reviews written about them and an overall rating average of 4.5 stars.
So far most of the people who have joined seem to be happy about the level of training they are receiving and the type of help they are getting.
However there are a few things I’ve seen members say that makes me worry a bit.
The main thing that makes be worry is the fact that I’ve seen several members claim that after you get to a certain point you have to shell out large amounts of money before you can continue.
To be fair, there is no solid proof of this that I’ve seen, and the prices that the members have claimed vary greatly.
With that being said if those allegations are true, it will be very disappointing, as that price isn’t listed anywhere on their website. At least not that I can find.
All of the reviews left seem to be from members who have just recently joined, so I believe in time we will begin to get more information about them.
If you are or were a member, please leave your thoughts and experiences in the comments below!
My Ecom Club Complaints
Even though most of the reviews written on Facebook were good, I still found some claims and complaints that I want to address here.
To go along with the complaints of having to pay a hefty price tag before continuing, there were also complaints about refund troubles.
While looking through some complaints with the BBB I came across one in particular that caught my attention.
Well actually it wasn’t the complaint that caught my attention, it was just from someone having problems getting a refund from My Ecom Club (which is a common complaint I see with tons of legit companies)
What caught my attention was the business response from the company itself.
As you can see they state that the member enrolled in a payment plan that required him to pay four payments of $525, which leads me to believe that the claims of it being much more expensive than they appear to be true.
It could be that he decided to purchase an optional up-sell that isn’t required, but I honestly doubt that. It appears it might actually be more expensive than they claim.
Is My Ecom Club A Scam?
I want to be completely transparent and make it clear that I didn’t sign up for My Ecom Club, simply because I have no interest in starting a drop-shipping business right now.
With that being said, after all of my research I haven’t found anything that would lead me to believe they are a scam, but I just can’t recommend that you sign up for them right now.
Apparently the initial training is good according to their members on Facebook, however it doesn’t seem like that training is enough to help you succeed. It honestly appears as if they lead you in with a relatively low payment, and then require you to shell out much more money down the line.
There simply isn’t enough information out there about their training, and there is too much to suggest that they are potentially going to charge you thousands.
I obviously don’t know everything about them, so I want to hear what you have to say! Are you a member? Have you made money? Did they charge you thousands? Let me know in the comments below, new information could change my mind!
If you’re interested in starting an online store I recommend you check out Profitable Online Store. It’s pretty expensive (like $1,200 or something) but it’s incredible training that has been proven to make many members a lot of money.

I made it through the first 6 steps and then if you want to go to phase 2 it is $1997, Then they add another $97.00 per month to belong to the group. That is why I came to read this. I am not going to dish out 2 grand and still have no guarantee of success. The contract you will have to sign says they are not responsible if you do not have success. All that is for is to build 2 stores with 100 products. And follow up counseling only if you continue to pay 97.00 a month. That does not include your shop fees taxes, etc.
I paid $97 to access the first 6 steps. Every training video gives you just enough information to keep you intrigued but not enough to teach you EXACTLY what to do. It does seem like a business people are making money in. So, I paid the $1,997 to have the 2 stores built. That also opened up additional training. Like the first steps it seemed like the videos just told the bare basics but not the necessary information to be successful. Now I am being offered more pre built stores, additional training on Facebook ads, and access to training with the owner if i buy 1 of 4 packages that range from $7,995 to $29,997. They have tons of links for you to pull out loans but I am not interested. SO, even though I paid for 2 more training videos, I do not get access until I at least apply for a loan. Now I have 2 stores that I don’t know how to edit or advertise and the $97 monthly fee does not give you follow up counseling, it basically gives you access to weekly calls with one of the owners which are in the middle of the day while I am at work. I wish I had been smart and seen this review before I paid all that money already.
I’m sorry to see that you gave so much money to them. At least you didn’t take out a loan, and give them anymore money, I wouldn’t be surprised if they still didn’t give you all of the information you need. Thank you for sharing your experience and I hope you’re able to at least some of your money back.
Request a refund, I got mine within 3 or 4 days. Calling will get you faster results.
Who do you call to get a refund?
Call Mary Kate with Customer Experience at 813-213-3116 (ext. 105). I know this because I JUST got my refund after 3 weeks of nonstop calling and emailing.
Thanks for the phone number. I did not know for sure who will I contact to get a refund.
Thank you! Sorry for where it ended for you. Thanks again for saving me any further loses. I was in the process of reconsidering at return and going further ie past the $1997
Sorry to hear that you had to invest so much money and that they’re still after you to spend more. I thank Allah for you because I just finished phase 1 and was just about to figure out how to pay that $1,997.00 that I REALLY can’t afford. I asked Allah to guide me in this quest and He led me here. I won’t be going any further in this field. Again, thank you and I am sorry you had to loose so much time and money.
I came within 1 click of signing today! I decided to look up the club here and see what they have. The things I was most concerned with(the unknowns) is just what I am finding out here. Thanks for the recommendation! No thanks!
I’m glad I was able to help you get the information you were looking for!
You did not make it to the point after purchasing the 2 stores for $2400, I did the $600/4 month payment plan. I thought continued training was involved with that $97/mo fee, but I guess still only partial training because bam!!! they hit you with an option to pay $5,000 to $40,000 for something called an upgrade package and that cost is if you pay in 10 days, otherwise it is $7,000 to $57,000. I don’t know if it’s required to move to further steps, but I’m sure the training will not be top of the line without it. Even with that steep cost, this is still not a lifetime training membership, only 12-35 weeks are included. At this point I had only paid $600 towards my stores, $34 for my domain and hosting, $47 initial fee, so I immediately requested a refund (which I received in 3 days) because it was not feasible to me to pay that kind of money before I have seen or made any money with my “done-for-me stores”. I knew something was hinky when they were adamant about me filling out a financial evaluation for possible future expenses that you may incur with running a business. I do not consider “future”, in terms of business expenses, 4 days on top of $2500 and you are still responsible for upcoming ad fees, dropshipping fees, and hosting costs. That hole is too deep for me, especially not knowing the potential for the company. I’m not saying it won’t work, it’s a scam, or it’s not right for you-it’s just not right for me. There are other legitimate companies out there that will train you for life and success for substantially less so I prefer to keep searching.
I joined EcomClub and followed the training to the point of their building two stores for me at cost pf $2057.00. Now I am at the point of picking a package that moves the store forward with continued training. The packages will require financing that I am not ready to apply for. The cost ranges from 14-40 thousand. I am considering having the stores turned over to me at this point and continuing my training from another source. Possibly WEALTHY AFFILIATE. I need something that will complete my training without creating more debt. I Have not yet discussed how to do this with my Ecom trainer/business advisor yet.
I just signed up today for EcomClub’s training (for $97.00) and was scheduled to have a phone appointment with an assigned mentor. I quickly went through steps 1 and 2 and am eager to do more, but it seems I’ll have access to further steps only after I’ve spoken with my mentor. We’ll see how far I get, but I can’t afford $1,997.00, so maybe I ought to just ask for a refund.
I have read a lot about these kind of upsells, you pay one fee, and then you will have to pay another and another.
all sounds promising. just to get you dreams shattered , I have found a business that will promise you to achieve your dreams. completely free to join and will not charge you any upsells. It is called Wealthy Affiliate.
So if your thinking about joining this program, you better think hard. My advice is Don’t Do IT.
If you already signed up and you are not happy with it, ask for your money back.
reading these makes me wonder what I should do I sure as hell don’t have 525.00 for three or four payments to you, I was gonna try this to make that kind of money but now i’m not so sure because this is all the money I have money I have to my name I’m on a fixed income im just trying to find an online based business becacse I cannot work and to make ends meet, dam its so hard….
I joined ecom club and went through the first 3 steps. Then on the 4th step I found that they would do it all for me for $1997.00. I could not afford to pay that so I asked for a refund. No, problem. I received my refund within 2 days. It all sounded very promising but I am glad I did not try to raise the money to go forward. They did not offer me any kind of payment plan. Scam? Do not know but glad I got out when I did.
