Will Tube Scout actually make your videos rank high on YouTube, or is it just a waste of your money, and effort?
I’ve recently been doing a ton of research into growing YouTube accounts and using them to direct traffic to your blog or website in order to increase traffic and overall affiliate sales.
During my research I ran across Tube Scout and decided to write this review about.
Tube Scout Review
Product: Tube Scout
Creator: Seth “Beast” Bias
Price: $27 + Up-sells
Verdict: Isn’t Worth It
What Is Tube Scout?
Tube Scout is a software created by Seth Bias that will show you some useful information about videos that are related to the subject of your video.
The idea behind is that you can use that information in a way that will help your videos rank higher in YouTube’s search engine.
How Will Tube Scout Help You?
Tube Scout will assist you in ranking on YouTube by:
- Showing the tags that similar videos used. That way you can use them to rank for the same keywords.
- Show you the views per day or per week for every video. Keep in mind that these are simply estimates.
- Shows you how difficult it is to rank for certain keywords.
- Helping you choose keywords to use in your title.
Pros and Cons
There are things that I like about the software and things that I don’t like, so lets jump into those.
Pros:
- Gives you useful information
- Can help you rank higher
- Easy to use
- Money Back Guarantee
Cons:
- Won’t help as much as they claim
- Up-sells
- Up-sells
- Up-sells
The Up-sells
There is a reason why Up-sells were listed as 3 of the 4 cons for Tube Scout.
After you purchase the original software for the $27, or whatever price they happen to be offering it for at the time, you will be hit with multiple offers trying to get you to purchase more expensive products.
The Up-sells are:
- DFY Videos: ($14.95)
- Ranking Membership: ($14.95/Monthly)
- Tube Scout PLR ($97)
Just be aware of these up-sells and don’t fall into their trap if you don’t absolutely need them.
My Personal Thoughts
There are a few things that you need to keep in mind when you are making the decision to purchase Tube Scout.
It won’t help you rank in YouTube search as easily as they make it seem.
As you can see in their sales/demonstration video above they use Tube Scout and automatically rank in search within seconds.
It seems amazing right…well theirs a few things to think about.
After they publish their video, yes they do rank right away, but it is only for the title.
For example, your video would only pop up that fast if the person typed in the exact title of your video.
Also keep in mind that the videos that are ranked near his video aren’t getting all those views because they rank for that search term.
They’re getting all of those views because they rank in search for probably hundreds of other more popular and difficult keywords.
Not to mention many of those channels probably have thousands of subscribes who help add to the views.
My point is that this software can help you learn the difficulty to rank for certain keywords, and the tags and titles you should use, but it will not immediately help you get thousands of views.
Conclusion
Tube Scout can be a little helpful when it comes to deciding what tags to use and what videos to make, but will not suddenly make your YouTube channel grow at an insane rate.
Overall, I think that Tube Scout
It’s not a complete scam, but it isn’t as good as they make it seem. Personally I believe you should do more research because there are other cheaper ways to get the same information they offer.
What I Recommend
If you have a growing YouTube channel, I suggest that you create a monetized website or blog in order to maximize the money that you make from your videos.
You can use your videos to direct traffic to that website, and make money through affiliate sales.
I was able to make enough money to quit my job and focus on my website and I don’t even have a YouTube channel.
I learned every thing I know from Wealthy Affiliate and I suggest you read more about them if you want to maximize your online earnings.
